Giorgi Iashvili

Giorgi Iashvili is Cyber Security strategy and governance consultant with over 15 years of leadership experience and solid expertise in critical infrastructure protection and resilience against advanced threats, including sophisticated and state-sponsored cyber-attacks. He is the Former Director of IT Security at the Central Election Commission of Georgia and Chief Information Security Officer CISO) at  National Bank of Georgia. Mr Iashvili is a Cardiff University graduate and BSI-certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor. Mr Iashvili is a Co-Founder & Board Member of the Georgian Information Security Association (GISA) and Cyber Trust LLC, an international consultancy company that provides cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance services. Mr Iashvili is an Associate Professor of Cyber Security Studies at Business and Technology University.
